LED rechargeable candles explained: how rechargeable candlelight works
Candlelight without an open flame, that you simply charge. That is LED Recharge. The candles look warm and real, but you don't have to light anything, extinguish anything, and there's no dripping wax. What is LED Recharge?
LED Recharge is a line of rechargeable LED candles from Home Society. You charge them on a charging station, the Charging Base, and then place them wherever you like. You can find the entire collection on our LED Recharge page.
Which candles are available?
- Dinner candles. A set of 2 for 14.95 euros, for on the table or in a candlestick.
- XL dinner candles. A set of 2 for 17.95 euros, for those who want something larger.
- Mini pillar candles. A set of 2 for 14.95 euros, small and versatile.
- Tea lights. A set of 6 for 27.50 euros.
There are six colors available: off-white, beige, burgundy, brown, dark brown, and green. This way, there is always one that matches your interior or your Christmas decor.
The Charging Base
You charge the candles on the Charging Base. It comes in two sizes, S and L, starting at 3.95 euros. One Charging Base is enough for all the candles in the line, from tea lights to XL dinner candles. You therefore don't need a separate charging station for each candle. On the LED Recharge page, you first choose your Charging Base, then your candles and color, and add everything to your cart at once.
Where are they useful?
LED candles are great for places where an open flame is not convenient. Think of a room with children or pets, a drafty spot, or a table where the candles need to stay lit for a long time without you being there. Also lovely for a Christmas arrangement or in a candlestick.
How to use them
- Choose a Charging Base in the size that suits your candles.
- Place the candles on the Charging Base to charge.
- Take them off and place them wherever you want them to be.
The Charging Base is sold separately, so you decide for yourself whether you need one or more. You can easily mix and match candles of different colors and sizes.
Ideas for ambiance
- On the dining table. Place two dinner candles in a candlestick for a worry-free dinner.
- On a tray. Combine pillar candles and tea lights on a leather tray from Chamada.
- On a windowsill. Tea lights provide a soft glow in the evening.
- In a Christmas arrangement. Without a flame, you can safely place them among the greenery.
Which color suits which mood?
For a calm, light look, choose off-white or beige. Brown and dark brown fit a warm, cozy atmosphere. Burgundy and green are beautiful in the autumn and around Christmas. You can also mix colors, for example, two green dinner candles with off-white tea lights.
