LED candles or real candles, when do you choose which?
A real candle provides fragrance and a vivid flame, while a rechargeable LED candle offers safe and reusable light without an open flame. Which of the two is best depends primarily on where you place the candle and why you are lighting it. What is the difference between an LED candle and a real candle?
A real scented candle, such as one from WoodWick or Bridgewater, burns with a real flame and diffuses a fragrance throughout the room. An LED candle from the LED Recharge line by Home Society has no flame and no scent, but it does have a light that can flicker or shine steadily, just as you choose. It is therefore primarily a choice between ambiance with fragrance or ambiance with light without a flame.
When should you choose a rechargeable LED candle?
An LED candle is a great choice when an open flame is not convenient: in a place accessible to children or pets, outside in a drafty spot, or anywhere you want to leave the candle on for a long time without constant supervision. The LED Recharge line consists of dinner candles, XL dinner candles, pillar candles, mini pillar candles, and tea lights, all rechargeable via USB-C on a Charging Base. One base (available in two sizes) charges all candle models fully in 6 to 8 hours. According to Home Society, a full charge provides up to 120 hours of light.
With the included remote control, you can set a timer for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours, choose between flickering or steady light, and dim the candle as desired. This is useful if, for example, you want automatic ambiance every evening without the need for a lighter.
Another advantage: one Charging Base (available in two sizes) is enough to charge all candles in the line, from tea lights to XL dinner candles. You do not need a separate charging station for each candle.
When should you choose a real scented candle?
If you mainly want fragrance in your home, a real candle is the logical choice: that is something an LED candle cannot offer. Think of a scented candle as an atmospheric element for an evening at home, as a gift, or simply because you love a particular scent. A real candle does require some attention: you light it yourself, monitor it as long as it is burning, and extinguish it before leaving the room. Certainly. Many people use a real scented candle when they are at home and want to smell the fragrance, and an LED candle in places or at times where a flame is less practical, for example, in a nursery or during a party with children present. That way, you combine ambiance and convenience.
Is an LED candle also suitable as a gift?
