General Terms and Conditions for Workshops
A workshop with a scheduled date falls under leisure activities. The statutory 14-day cooling-off period does not apply to such bookings. However, our cancellation policies below do apply.
Welcome to Huisje 44! Here, you can fully unleash your creativity. These terms and conditions apply to anyone enrolling in a workshop at Huisje 44. By enrolling, you agree to these terms. Please feel free to take the time to read them through.
1. Enrollment and Participation
1.1 The agreement is formed once you enroll in a workshop via email (info@huisje44.nl), the webshop, or our social media channels.
1.2 After enrollment, you will receive a confirmation by email. Your participation is guaranteed as soon as you have received this confirmation.
1.3 Participants are responsible for adhering to the workshop agreements and terms.
2. Payment and Cancellation
2.1 Payment:
Payment for the workshop must be made within two days of booking to guarantee your participation.
Payment can be made via a payment request, bank transfer, or booking in the webshop.
2.2 Cancellation or Rescheduling by Participants:
Up to 14 days before the workshop: Rescheduling to another available date is free of charge.
Between 14 and 7 days before the workshop: Rescheduling to another available date is possible, subject to availability.
Less than 7 days before the workshop: The full amount will be charged, unless there is a case of force majeure (e.g., illness). In that case, we can reschedule the workshop once, subject to availability.
Less than 24 hours before the workshop: Cancellation is not possible, but you are responsible for finding a replacement yourself if necessary.
Credit voucher: If someone drops out of a group booking, we offer a credit voucher for a future workshop instead of a refund.
2.3 Cancellation by Huisje 44:
In case of insufficient participants, Huisje 44 may cancel the workshop. You will be notified no later than 3 days before the workshop.
In the event of cancellation, Huisje 44 will always offer an alternative date or a refund if an alternative date is not possible.
3. Changes and Liability
3.1 Responsibility:
Huisje 44 is liable for damages attributable to us. We are not liable for damage to clothing or personal belongings during the workshop; please wear something that can get dirty. This limitation never applies in the event of intent or gross negligence on our part.
4. Privacy and Imagery
4.1 Imagery:
You may take photos and videos during the workshop. Always ask for permission from other participants before sharing anything on social media.
Participants must respect the wishes of others not to appear in imagery.
4.2 Privacy:
Huisje 44 respects the privacy of its participants and acts in accordance with applicable privacy legislation.
5. Other Provisions
5.1 Workshop Results:
Huisje 44 provides guidance and support during the workshop, but the final result depends on the participant's effort and creativity. Huisje 44 cannot guarantee that the end product will fully meet the participant's expectations. The result is therefore the responsibility of the participant.
5.2 Participant Conduct:
Participants who cause a disturbance to the group may be removed from the workshop. In that case, no refund of the paid amount will be issued.
5.3 Changes to the Workshop:
Huisje 44 reserves the right to change the content or prices of the workshops if necessary. Participants will be informed of such changes in a timely manner.
